Marks and Spencer sales and notepad assistant (Foods): the position is semi-autonomous at a Destination Marks and Spencer store, needing clear judgment and day to day assessment of what the shop floor requires to maintain stock levels while taking into account the needs and capabilities of the various stakeholders involved.

Paperchase sales assistant: This role included cashing up and high levels of customer service. The position was taken up to fund my future travel to Tokyo.

QUB Architecture Society, Head of Education: With aims of improving the schools profile and fostering a culture of engagement, my role included the negotiation, management and publicising lectures, while further representing the school’s interest on a wider social and intellectual plane.

Website Building (without coding): Having designed and built my own website using Wix (a cloud-based web development platform), I was then invited by a tutor to do the same for her, this included consultation and ongoing maintenance - www.cacity.org

Invited to attend and photograph RIBA’s Poly-ark: Poly-port conference in Rome. A three day conference centred around Cedric Price’s ambition to unite architecture students in the study and critique of architecture. Subsequent work published on BDonline.

Buildings and Comparative Cultural Policies on the Island of Ireland: The Curse of 

Jocasta’s Necklace, Dr Sarah Lappin.

Nominated for QUB Second year studio design award and QUB Undergraduate writing

Studio work featured within QUB publication in Perspective Magazine, the journal for 

architects in Northern Ireland, in addition, photography was the cover image.

Placed First in the student category of the RSUA (Royal Society of Ulster Architects) 

Hidden Heritage photography competition. Judges comment; “Another commentary on the world. First impression is of an art image: good composition, content and texture, well framed - the judges liked the letterbox format. It also expresses a hidden social Heritage: ordered yet chaotic, neglected yet fenced in. A witty while ironic viewpoint.”
