The sky, the earth

       and the spaces between

The brick, the concrete

       and the notions of these

In  the earth we rest

The sky we breathe

The corridors between

We slowly   roam

It is in the constitution of the brick, its rough edges and smooth faces, the fact its held in a single hand and has to work in such unity, dependence with its kin.

By contrast, the concrete holds an easy grace, a clean plain of expanse, formidable in its strength, solid with echoes of the earth.

Both strive in their own way to induce a desired space, a desirable space.

They need not clash, but rather acknowledge the presence of the other, allowing that each has its own attributes and own means of achieving them, highlighting this in each other.

Allow for the contrast; acknowledge the contrast of language, tone, of spatial implication.

See that both the brick and the concrete do not retain human flaws, but are willing to embrace and utilize the apposing difference.
